As Avid digitizes, it automatically
creates a database on which the analyst can perform custom
search, sort and sift functions. With the patented Avid Bin
Architechture, the investigator can add custom columns with
specific data such
as suspect descriptions,
case
file numbers, locations and incident types. Each entry in the
database can be displayed and printed with thumbnail images
for easy reference. Search results yield thumbnail pictures
of suspects matching only the specific search criteria. This
provides powerful exhibit management and organization of video
evidence.
Thumbnail images can be played
back in real-time. The analyst can navigate instantly to
the first or last frame of any thumbnail, mark in or out
points, and edit the video directly to the timeline, where
numerous image clarification functions can be performed.
