With the dTective system, you can digitize full-screen (720 x 486) uncompressed NTSC video from any composite, component, S-Video, DV or MPEG 50 video source. These sources cover a wide range of input types, including VHS-resolution security images, digital-based closed circuit television files, or high resolution television news tapes. By using the Avid digitize tool, the analyst selects the input source then simply hits the record button to start digitizing. The analyst also has the option of recording video straight to the timeline, the fastest possible way to record, analyze and examine security videotape.
