Why can't I use certain codecs when saving video clips out of dPlex Pro?

We currently only support the following codecs when saving video clips out of dPlex Pro:

1. Cinepak Codec
2. Avid Avi Codec 2.0d2
3. Uncompressed Full Frames. (Recommended)

If you choose another codec, it may or may not work. This issue should be resolved in a future release of dPlex Pro.

The uncompressed (full frames) codec is the recommended codec to use when saving clips from dPlex Pro. This is particularly true if you plan to re-import the clip back into Avid for further analysis, as the uncompressed option does not introduce any loss or compression artifacts.
