I just upgraded to dTective v5.0 and some of my plug-ins don’t show up in the Effects Palette.

dTective v5.0 requires you have Microsoft .NET framework v2.0 installed. 

While you are here, also download the Windows installer 3.0 in case it is needed because of your
Windows SP version.

The Microsoft .NET Framework program can be found at the Microsoft web site.
    Please follow this link to download the program.  This program can be downloaded to any system
    then copied to copied to your dTective system for installation.

    While you are here also download the Windows installer 3.0 incase it is needed because of your
    Windows SP version.
 

5 - Once the .NET framework is installed, launch Avid and look in the Avid Effects Palette under the
     dTective category to verify the new dTective modules were successfully installed. Your should
     see: CID - Universal Noise Remover, CID - Color-Safe Levels, and CID - Color-Safe Curves.

     Note: These new dtective modules will run in demo mode until they are unlocked.
     The unlock codes will be emailed to you.
