Why does my Composer monitor flicker with a white border when I try to play it back?

This can happen for two reasons.

1. If you have another window that is on top of the Composer window, even if it is only partially overlapping it, will cause the Composer window to flicker with a white border around it.

2. You may have your dual monitor setup improperly configured. (See Dual Monitor Setup) In the Dual Monitor Mode the Composer window needs to be run off the EDC card which is generally the right hand monitor. If it is in the left monitor or not on the EDC card it will flicker with a white border around it.
