Microsoft releases new Service Packs from time to time. Just because Microsoft has released one, does not mean it has been tested to work with your version of Avid editing software. DO NOT install a service pack until you have verified that it is supported.


DO NOT Install Windows Vista
Avid software has not been updated to run on the new Vista operating system.  It is expected that at a later date Avid will update their software to run on the new Vista operating system.
