Avid Isn't Just for Analog Video
Upgrade to Avid Media Composer 5.0 or later — includes the new Avid AMA feature that provides Instant Access to Digital Video without the need to import media into your Avid. The Avid AMA feature allows you to access Quicktime (.MOV) files directly in Avid at their native resolution without the need for importing.

In Avid Media Composer go to File>Link to AMA file(s)... and the videos will show up in your bin providing you instant access inside of Avid. This is a great workflow when using DVR dCoder or Omnivore to capture DVR video.

Additionally, if you want to analyze multiple camera views after you run dPlex Pro, just export your camera views and you can access them instantly in Avid using Avid AMA. You no longer need to wait as the files import. Now, using Avid to analyze video have never been easier.
