I get an error message that says invalid screen value when opening a project This is typically a corrupt user and/or corrupt settings file. Here are a few things to try. 1. Create a new user and select a project. If this works then you had a corrupt user. If you are still getting the error message you probably have a combination of a corrupt user and settings file. 1. Close Avid and delete your users and settings file. They can be found under C:\Program Files\Avid\Avid Xpress\Settings (Settings files, should be three files here delete them all) 2. Open Avid create a new user and open a project. The error message should be gone.
