I can’t find the Motion Effect icon on my Avid Media Composer Adrenaline

The Motion Effect icons have been moved in Media Composer. They can be found or mapped in various ways. Looking in a pop-up window as you see below:

You will see a fast menu up in the top left of the window. When you click on it the menu opens up and you will see the Motion Effect icon appear in the menu shown in Figure 2.

If you are using Source/Record monitors and do not have the pop-up windows enabled, you can map your keyboard, to do Motion Effects. In your Project window if you double-click on the keyboard setting and open the keyboard map.

Once you open the keyboard map you will see a dialog like you see in Figure 4.

Now you need to open the Command Palette. If you go Tools à Command Palette, you will see a window appear like the one in Figure 5.

Click on the FX tab at the top of the window. Make sure the Button to Button Reassignment option is highlighted. Using your mouse drag the Motion Effect icon

to a keyboard button on your keyboard map. I chose the M key but you can chose any key you like.

Now you can press the M key to open the Motion Effect tool.
