Why
do my clips and sequences come up as Media Offline?
1. You have
deleted the associated media file for that clip or sequence. In
some cases clips or sequences may point to the same media files.
2. Your media drive may be offline. Go into Windows Explorer and
see if the media drive shows up. If it does not show up, check your
connections and make sure the drives are powered up.
3. Your OMFI Media Files folder may be deleted or renamed. Go into
Windows Explorer and see if the media drive contains a folder called
“OMFI Media Files”. This folder needs to be named “OMFI
Media Files” (without the “”). If it gets deleted
or renamed, Avid Xpress will not be able to see the media files.
